I have found that this subject is a very unfamilar topic with lots of parents these days. Particularily with their oldest children. So as a former college student with both an undergaduate and graduate degrees and a teacher, I have a great deal of experience with this topic.
Every year that a student is in High School there is something that they can do to help them with college. Most don't start until Junior or Senior year and that is okay but if your student can start soon, then that is event better.
I will post here as appropriate to the time frame, tasks for the grade level of each student. It won't be big tasks each time but hopefully you can work on each part as it comes along. I will note sections for those who are Seniors who have not done any other prep work before this year. So follow along to make learning the ins and outs of college finance that much easier.
